Chivalry!*#$

When you are with a woman, make her feel special. Realize the fact that she is with you while could have been with someone else. Give her due attention.  She needs to be treated like a woman. Respect women.

Being Chivalrous:
Open the Door for her
Help her shop
Get her a drink
Offer her a jacket when she feels cold
Put your arm around her in an unknown place. (Gives her sense of security)

Propose!?!

Buy a rose
Surprise her with a long drive on a pleasant evening
Arrange a candle light dinner
Make her play along with you
Lead her into a chat/conversation
Do something creative
Gift her something (Women prefer small things)
Wait for the appropriate moment and say it.

*** Make sure you mean it.

What Women Want - Search for the Never Found Grail

He has been denied and discarded. The only hope was to follow the summons of the alter ego and follow wherever it leads him. He found himself swept away by numerous books and websites that unlock into the unseen chambers and tunnels. All that was familiar turned into stone. The clandestine worlds of deviously concealed feminine secrets seem to be leading not only him, but the entire dominant species on earth to an inconceivable truth.

As he started his journey to unravel the mysteries, he bowed to the aura of uncertainty that engulfs them. While many have set out on the journey to achieve this Herculean task, he chose a different path to get a better view of the unknown. He discovered that there was nothing uncanny than the convoluted secret which was hidden in plain sight. Several attempts have been made to unearth this Holy Grail.

Psychologists, Doctors and many others have spent several man hours trying to research and comprehend the Grail only to fail in trying to apply it. Very few have met with minimal success. He felt like exposing the Grail (Secret to women’s heart) for the well being of billions in this world. The contents could change the mechanics of life. As he neared the grail, the inscriptions on it read . . .

What are the fundamental differences between the Men and Women? Reasoning acts as the dominant base of decision for men while women make emotional decisions. Women prefer to share their story in detail, while Men would prefer the summary. While Men bond by sharing activities, women bond by sharing feelings.

Theories have been formulated with various kinds of variables ranging from being smart to having a sense of security. However it is very simple. All that the woman wants is one thing – An Ideal Man. Is it that simple? Are simple things so complex that this question still remains unanswered in totality? So what are the qualities that women look for in an ideal man? While most women talk about of the characteristic traits, there are few unspoken that they look out in an individual, which the man seldom comprehends.

Excerpts

Honesty/ Faithful/ Trustworthy
The most common traits that women speak about are honesty and trustworthy. These are a must for any man, if they want to win over a woman. Love your woman and do not cheat on her. Just assure the lady that you aren’t going anywhere.

Confidence
Confidence is one of the most important key factors. Nothing is better than the way to speak with confidence. Do not mix confidence with arrogance. Ability to handle situations with a cool head confidence surely wins bonus points.  Remember that with confidence, you will be able to respect yourself and others around.

Sense of Humor
Ability to laugh and make others laugh is a must in your Armour. To be able to make the women laugh is an art. Women love humor and you will double your chances of you can get them to laugh. Be yourself, but be funny.

Listening
Women talk, talk a lot. A woman feels nice when her man shuts down his world (phone/ laptop) to listen to her. They want to be heard. Many women love to complain and vent out their frustration. Be patient and pay attention. Allow her to talk and do not interrupt her. Provide your opinion/feedback only when it is your turn to talk. Listening is the key and you find that woman opens up to you once you are listen to them.

Sensitive
Women prefer men who are sensitive to the surroundings. Assessing and reacting to the situation is a one of the important characteristics that she would look for. Understanding the moods with minimal communication is highly preferable.

While these traits are spoken openly, there are few others which are left unsaid but are of utmost importance. You cannot take chances.

Physical Attraction
Though most of the women deny this, they do look for the handsome/cute/smart looking men. You need not be a Brad Pitt to pull it off. While we do not have any control of the looks, you can groom to look better. Be smart and carry yourself with confidence.

Intelligence
Any woman likes to show off her man. They like men who can solve problems, provide instant solutions, or who can talk about any topic. You need not be the all knowing one, but you are at an advantage if you have a hinge about most of the dirt happening around.

Passion
Women like men who are passionate about something. Be it a sport, music, cooking or adventure. Your passion could make you unique among her friends. If you are lucky this might as well kindle some feelings for you.

Romance
Women are fond of fairy tale love stories. They are mostly right brained species and less logical. Every woman fantasizes about being swept away by a handsome prince. They like surprises.  So, being romantic is very important to be irresistible.

Chivalry
Women love to feel important and attended to. Show that chivalry is still alive in men. Opening the door for them, offering them a seat, getting her a drink or even helping her reach out to the bar counter in a crowded place will earn you extra points.

Financial Credibility

Though women like to have honest & confident men, astounding number of women love to have a man with financial credibility. A man with seven figure salary and some bank deposits, stands a better chance of winning over the girl.

Bad Boy
Sometimes we hear the statements like “He is a nice and safe”. It is clear that he has lost the race. Women prefer “Bad Boys”. They like guys who flirt. Do not lay yourself on the table like an open book. You must be mystery to her. Try to cut out a balance as too much mystery might create insecurity. Try to be the “REAL MAN” and not “NICE GUY” as the latter finish last.

Research shows that a guy who can get a table when the restaurant is overflowing with customers or who can arrange for one more drink for the girl when the bar counter is closed or can accommodate for free passes for the most wanted rock show are highly regarded to be successful in inching towards the . . .

He found a piece of the Grail missing. He continued his journey in search of the missing piece wondering if he could ever lay his hands on the complete Grail.

The Moment...

The door closed behind him slowly and the latch fell in its place. He cursed the summer for power cuts as the lights did not turn on. Gentle breeze tickled the skin as stormed its way into the room. He lit a candle in the living room and moved into the kitchen to light one more. The dimly lit room with various art works on the walls gave an impression of a museum. The interiors were done with precision. Everything seemed to be in its place.

She was still moving across the hall, examining the art work. “From the art exhibition”, he responded to her. She raised the candle to get a better view of the intricacies of the art. The light from the candle silhouetted her figure. The black strapless linen gown she wore for the evening accentuated her near perfect figure. Her flawless skin glowed in the candle light. Her oval face highlighted the high cheekbones, whenever she smiled. Her long dark curly hair made her look even fairer. She was standing like an Isis, apparently examining the art work.

He went near her to explain the complexities of the art. She took a step behind to hear him. He could smell lavender; painfully close. He became conscious of the distance between them. His breath got heavier. Few strands of her hair caressed his face. The closeness sent a shiver down his spine. Excitement with anxiety and fear got better of him. He wanted to turn away, but his legs wouldn’t.

She was right in front of him. The fragrance got heavier. He could now clearly see her long neck and well grown collar bone. The thin Swarovski clearly augmented her beautiful neck line. He took a deep breath and pulled her hair aside revealing her back. She did not resist. He leaned and kissed her in a line down her neck into the curve of her shoulder. She felt his breath moving slowly along the neck. It tickled and she quivered. He could feel the sudden gush of blood in his veins. Heart was racing. Small droplets of sweat seemed to appear on the forehead. Tension was building.

Adrenalin flow has increased. He kissed again just below the ear, quite obsequiously this time. She arched back her neck and slowly turned to face him. Dark brown eyes with beautiful eyelashes were captivating. She was magnificent. He brushed aside the hair off her cheek and felt it softly with his fingers. The affectionate smile gave him the signal. She closed her eyes as he leaned forward. She caressed his soft lips. He could feel her as she swelled with his touch. He felt the growing heat as they got closer. He held her tight in his huge arms and she liked it.

Every nerve was rejoicing and the feeling was overwhelming. She reached up his broad shoulders and slid her arms around his waist. Both savored the moment to its fullest. The moment wouldn’t just end as they were lost in the deep passion that ignited their hearts.

First Kiss

Breathing was not smooth. Inflow and outflow was irregular. He could not breathe.  His hands quivered with excitement. He always wondered what it meant by butterflies in the stomach. He understood the feeling as the day arrived. The thought of meeting her in person, alone in the privacy of home caused tremors in his stomach.

He was looking at her, his gaze constantly shuttling between her eyes and her little well shaped lips. As the distance between them got meaner, he could feel his breath bouncing off her cheeks. He held his breath and leaned further. She did not desist. He was now close enough that he could see only the tip of nose. Hands went up automatically holding her face in his palms; he brushed his lips against her gently, probing for the permission. There was no reaction. Perplexed, he brushed again. This time, she seemed to have approved, as her lips slowly opened.

Her lips were smooth and tender. Strawberry flavor has just gotten on to his taste buds. She raised her hands slowly and held his forearm, unsure of drawing him close or to push him away. Hands then moved on slowly, grasping the t-shirt and only to wound round him. Eyes were still shut tight. Some thing seemed to lighten the darkness created by their shut eyes. They moved closer.

Seconds turned into eternity. He could feel the warmth of her body against his.  He moved his hands gently caressing her back and embraced her, enveloping her tiny frame in his huge arms. They were lost in the timelessness of their kiss. It looked like neither of them would want to break away from each other and end it first. Anticipation, excitement, anxiety, fear, and panic were all put to rest and calmness prevailed. They withdrew as if mutually agreed. Eyes locked and some messages were shared. After a brief moment, she cuddled into him and he was more than eager to accept her.

At that moment he was ready to forego everything just to be with her.
First Kiss - The Kiss like no other.

Prelude to a Kiss

Almost 6 years back, I have come to Bangalore to set out on the new phase of life. I passed out of a college where we hardly got an air about long hairs, forget even knowing them. I was kicked about my first job and very skeptical of the life at the same time for it was my first time in this beautiful garden city. I was lost in the gigantic concrete structures and spate of traffic. Cultural differences gaped in my face. It had taken little time for me to get acclimatized to the city life.

I started interacting with colleagues and was lucky enough to convert some of them into friends. Life was sailing smoothly with friends around and one year had passed in a jiffy. I was desperately seeking some change and one day, “Why don’t you move in with me?” said my uncle who had then moved to Bangalore. He was staying in a spacious 3 bed room flat, provided by the government. I felt it could do some good, and took up the offer immediately even though it proved to be tiring journey to office. After living in a packed can, I felt like a free bird in such large apartment. This offset the trouble of traveling 60KM daily. Life was progressing like boat on a placid lake.

“Do you mind giving me a lift home, as it is already late for me to get a cab?” asked a colleague of mine. “I actually stay near your place”, she continued. I have hardly spoken to her during the one year of our working together. I replied “Ok” and we were on our way. It was an uneasy ride back home as it was the first time I had ever taken a girl on my bike. Silence dominated with only couple of discussions during the ride back home. Little did I know what the destiny has got in store for me.

“Sorry”, I said and she smiled as she brushed against me after I applied the brake the last minute to avoid collision. Next three days, I have picked and dropped her home. Gradually, the wall between us had begun to shrink. We discussed topics ranging from work to relationships to religion. It looked like we were bonding nicely and within no time we seemed to miss each other’s company. Calling each other late nights had started to overcome the void. These calls were often made under blankets or in the balcony considering them to be some cloak of invisibility.

I was slowly getting used to the new developments in my life. “My distant cousin is coming down from Delhi for an interview and uncle gave me the responsibility to take her around” I said while coming back from office. “Oh, good”, she replied nonchalantly. There was silence and I could not pick on the hints for I was a complete dud and failed miserably in reading women.  During our regular post 11PM calls, the discussions were a bit more intense than usual and suddenly she said those magic words. I couldn’t believe my ears. My heart was pounding so hard, that I could hear it. It was not exactly happiness, but a kind of thrill combined with equal amount of tension. Mixture of emotions overpowered me. “Love you too”, words popped out of my mouth as if something kicked them from inside. “That’s it! Is this love?” I assumed it in affirmative as I never knew what love really meant.

The following morning, our hearts were bubbling out of excitement and the fragrance of love spread everywhere. We could not see each other as eyes got heavier with shy.  She sat silently behind, and the distance between us was inches more than usual. I could not let out my feelings as was unsure of the reactions. Both of us were aware of the deafening silence around. We wanted to break the shackles and behave normally. Finally the moment arrived. “I am going to be late today”, she said. It meant that we could not go back home together.

I never had problem go back home alone, but not on that day. I logged out and went to a nearby mall on the pretext of shopping. Sometimes we so wish that we did not have friends, and that day was one of them. They too hung around with me, which made me even more conscious. I was messaging her stealthily, trying to find out the time she would leave. I did not want to show her my keenness to be with her, and could not afford to leave at the same time. “I am going home”, I announced and went back to office to pick up my bike. I sent a text asking her to come to basement, and that we could go back together. As expected, we did go back home together, with my heart filled with unknown excitement & joy. I parked my bike and we walked the last 500 meters to her house. We trotted under the starry night with moon playing hide & seek occasionally.  Pace died down and arm’s distance converged into inches. Intermittent clash of hands has become regular and slowly the fingers intertwined themselves into a tender groove. Even before we could cherish the moment, we reached home, and I cursed god for making it so short lived. We bade each other good bye and as I turned back to collect my bike, I found a spring in my foot steps. I realized that few eyes were following me as I hopped back to my bike.

As the days passed, impatience and the eagerness to spend more time with each other have grown astronomically. But, we had to wait, until…
